I am a storyteller who is passionate about giving my clients a voice to help them achieve their goals. My expertise is in translating strategy into powerful messaging for internal and external audiences and identifying the right communications channels to deliver measurable results.
I founded Levy Strategic Communications in 2018 following a 20-year career leading strategic marketing communications efforts for Johns Hopkins Medicine in the National Capital Region, including Suburban and Sibley hospitals and Johns Hopkins Community Physicians. During that time, I developed strategic messaging for hospital executives, including CEOs. Our patient newsletter, with a distribution of 250,000, received numerous awards from national organizations.
I also have extensive experience with change management, and in that context I have created message platforms for crisis communications and a comprehensive plan to support Johns Hopkins Medicine’s acquisition of Sibley and Suburban hospitals.
Over the past several years, Levy Strategic Communications has teamed with numerous healthcare and non-profit organizations in the DC region, helping them to expand their reach with donors, clients and patients through creative and compelling storytelling. I have served as a ghost-writer for physician blogs and manage a monthly series of Ask the Expert webinars that attract hundreds of participants.
My skill set focuses around writing and content curation — news and feature stories, blogs, web content, speeches and testimony — as well as managing print production for brochures, annual reports, and collateral.
